Professional Background & Career Journey
Julia's path into talent acquisition was anything but planned. On the brink of launching her own event business in Budapest, Covid reshuffled the deck entirely and opened the door to a career she never anticipated but quickly made her own.
Looking back, the signs were always there. From her first professional experience in HR at Lufthansa to her time at Container Centralen, where her former manager already recognized a natural eye for people and recruitment — the thread was consistent long before she had a title to match it.
Starting as an HR Sourcing Consultant at Serendi, she progressed through Team Lead and Sourcing Manager roles before moving into Business Development and, most recently, stepping into her current position as Head of Talent Solutions with a stint as Account Director at LinkedIn along the way.
With over 8 years of experience across recruitment, account management, and talent solutions, Julia advises clients across Europe and beyond on their most complex hiring challenges.
Role at Serendi
Julia joined Serendi 2020 and worked her way up through Team Lead and Sourcing Manager roles, helping shape teams, processes, and ways of working from the ground up. After a brief chapter as Account Director at LinkedIn, she returned to Serendi in a new role and a new location - today serving as Head of Talent Solutions, leading business development globally.

Beyond the Office
Outside of her professional life, Julia is an avid sailor currently working toward her RYA Day Skipper certification. Having completed her Competent Crew certificate, she spends time on the water whenever possible - drawn to sailing for the same reasons she thrives in her work: the need for sharp decision-making, staying calm under pressure, and never shying away from a challenge. For Julia, the best learning happens when you are thrown in at the deep end.
