Professional Background & Career Journey

Maja brings more than 13 years of professional experience across media, academic research, Talent Acquisition, and recruitment delivery. Her career started in journalism and media during and shortly after her studies, while her academic work developed a strong foundation in communication, research, analysis, and understanding how people and societies create meaning. This background gradually shaped her path into HR and Talent Acquisition.

At Serendi, she began as a Talent Researcher and grew through several delivery and leadership roles, including Sourcing Consultant, Team Lead, and TA Delivery Manager. Her current focus is strategic enablement - connecting sourcing strategy, market intelligence, reporting, process improvement, stakeholder alignment, and technology adoption to help recruitment teams and international clients make better, more informed decisions.

At Serendi, Maja works at the intersection of recruitment strategy, delivery enablement, market insight, and operational improvement. She focuses on making complex recruitment environments more structured and transparent - from sourcing strategy and stakeholder alignment to KPI frameworks, reporting logic, HR technology adoption, and practical recommendations that help teams deliver better outcomes.

Maja’s personal interests reflect the same curiosity that shapes her professional work: people, communication, culture, and the stories behind individual and career choices. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family, friends, and her dog Hugo, while staying connected to both the HR/Talent Acquisition and journalism/communication communities.
