Professional Background & Career Journey
Mila's first real exposure to HR came during an internship in the motor vehicle manufacturing industry, but it was joining Serendi in 2022, as a Talent Researcher, that pulled her fully into recruitment. Within a few months, her talent was hard to miss, and she was promoted to become the first Sourcing Consultant in the Serbian team at the time. From there, she grew steadily into a Senior role, started training other sourcers, and eventually became a Talent Acquisition Partner. Along the way, she has worked across a genuinely wide mix of industries, and that variety has shaped how she approaches every new search: with curiosity instead of assumptions, because no two roles or hiring managers work the same way.
Role at Serendi
Mila currently works as a Talent Acquisition Partner on Serendi's aviation industry client, focusing on senior, high-level and executive positions. She leads the recruitment project end to end and stays in close, constant contact with recruiters and hiring managers throughout. Clients notice her approach quickly: she shows up with a real sense of ownership, which is what makes people trust her with their important hires.
Psychotherapy Practice
Mila is nearing the end of her training as a Gestalt Psychotherapy Trainee under Supervision. She has worked with clients in a psychotherapy setting for a few years, both in person and online, shaping each session around the person in front of her rather than a fixed script. She has also volunteered from 2012 to 2025 across civil rights, social action, mental health and educational initiatives.
Beyond the Office
Curious, funny, and quietly meticulous, Mila collects the small things most people walk past, starting with a tiny souvenir of every place she's been. She has a genuine love for art, with Klimt's "The Kiss" holding a permanent spot in her heart, and an even greater love for a well-placed joke, the kind that catches people off guard and makes even the most ordinary workday a little lighter. She brings the same eye for detail to her hobbies as she does to her work: nothing gets past her, and she notices what others miss.
What Drives Mila
Mila does this work because she genuinely loves it. She loves where she is, the people around her, and the work itself keeps her going. Some might call that being a workaholic, though for her it is about doing the work well rather than doing more of it. Quality is what she is always chasing. She believes everyone has real potential and simply needs the right support and the right pieces to fall into place for it to turn into something good.
