Professional Background & Career Journey
Milana didn't plan a career in recruitment, but looking back, it's hard to imagine a better fit. With a Master's in Psychology and years deep into Gestalt psychotherapy training, she entered talent acquisition and found a field where understanding people is the entire job. HR became her way of knowing herself in the corporate world, and it changed her life from the ground up: cross-country mandates, complex human dynamics, hard conversations and honest ones. Over four years at Serendi, she has grown through every level of the delivery ladder, across industries spanning specialty chemicals, aviation tech, food and industrial automation, logistics, and major global sporting events. She has never once done it halfway.
Role at Serendi
At Serendi, Milana manages end-to-end recruitment for complex, often confidential mandates across EMEA, LATAM, and APAC. Ask anyone who has worked with her and the answer is the same: she stays with a search until it is genuinely right. For candidates, that means being heard and respected throughout the process. For clients, it means a partner who stays fully engaged until the right person walks through the door.
Psychotherapy Practice
In parallel with her recruitment career, Milana completed her training as a Gestalt psychotherapist through the European Accredited Psychotherapy Training Institute in Belgrade, a six-year programme she began in 2020. Through Psihosvemir, her counselling practice in Niš and online, she works with individuals on self-awareness, life transitions, and personal growth. She has facilitated psychoeducational workshops on stress, anxiety, conflict, and relationships in schools, at university counselling centres, and at mental health fairs, and has taken part in professional events and international Gestalt congresses. This is the other half of who she is, and it shows in everything she does.
Beyond the Office
Communicative, creative, and wired for both depth and adrenaline, Milana is not someone who does anything halfway, and her life outside work proves it. She dives into the sea the same way she dives into a search: fully, curiously, and with genuine excitement about what she might find. When she isn't underwater or mid-sprint at the gym, she's at home with good food, acoustic music, strong coffee, and a new piece of tech she absolutely did not need but definitely had to have. Mindfulness and hedonism, it turns out, sit comfortably together in the life she has built.
What Drives Milana
Milana believes that doing good work means showing up whole, with full attention, genuine care, and the willingness to stay until the end. Whether she is supporting a candidate through a career change or a client through a difficult search, the standard is always the same: only her best. People deserve that, and she wouldn't have it any other way.
