The Setting
The Journey
  • International public sector organisation facing a recruitment peak due to restructuring a whole division and targeting to drastically increase diversity scores while operating on a strict budget

  • Pre-RPO situation of TA included limited resources reserved for turnover replacement hiring, talent sourcing capabilities were acquired externally through working with a network of 35+ agencies and head-hunters

  • Client selected Serendi as partner for Talent Pipelining during the restructuring programme. Reasons for the selection were Serendi’s ability to fully client brand all activities, the strong global talent sourcing capabilities, and a largely performance based fee model

  • Implementing a Talent Pipelining solution that is targeting candidates globally for different functional areas and hierarchy levels within the restructured division

  • Short term ramp-up with segmented sourcing strategy by geographic region executed by a dedicated team speaking 13 different languages to facilitate an appropriate candidate contact

  • Real-time reporting on diversity score of the talent pipelines and shortlists, monitoring and adjusting sourcing focus and strategy as needed

Some Insights
  • Talent Pipeline created within initial 9 weeks:

    • +3'400 candidates identified and approached globally ( ~95 countries)

    • +500 candidates interviewed

    • +230 candidates shortlisted for further selection with the client

  • Reduced cost of hire on entire restructuring project by 71%

  • Geographic diversity achieved with shortlisting candidates from 101 countries
